Refund Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Tickets are sold on a non-refundable and non-transferable basis except where required by law or as described in this Refund Policy. Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Cancellation requests

A request to cancel or resell a ticket does not automatically cancel the ticket. Unless and until it is successfully resold or otherwise cancelled by Get In Line, the original ticket remains valid and may still be used by the named ticket holder.

If you choose not to attend an event, do not request resale, or your ticket is not successfully resold, no refund will normally be due.

Resale requests

Get In Line may, at its discretion, agree to place an eligible ticket into the resale queue. We may refuse a resale request where we reasonably suspect fraud, duplicate bookings, an unjustified chargeback, ticket misuse, unauthorised resale or misuse of the booking system.

Accepting a ticket into the resale queue does not guarantee that it will be resold or that a refund will be made.

Resale queue

Remaining tickets being sold directly by Get In Line for the same event and ticket type are offered before tickets placed in the resale queue.

Resale requests are then handled in queue order where possible. Availability, demand, ticket type and other practical factors may affect whether a matching resale can be completed.

Successful resale

When a matching resale is successfully completed, the original ticket is automatically cancelled and can no longer be used. The original purchaser will be notified by email and a refund will become due for the amount actually paid for the ticket, including the effect of any discount applied at the time of booking.

Booking fees, payment processing charges or other third-party charges will only be refunded where stated at the point of booking or where required by law.

Refund processing

Refunds will normally be processed within 7 to 14 days of becoming due. The time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on Stripe, your bank, card issuer or other payment provider and is outside Get In Line's control.

Refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method unless we agree otherwise or this is not reasonably possible.

Unsuccessful resale

If a ticket is not successfully resold, no refund is due and the ticket remains subject to its existing status. Where the ticket has not otherwise been cancelled, it remains valid for the named ticket holder.

Postponed events

Where an event is postponed, tickets will normally remain valid for the rearranged date unless we advise otherwise. Details of any refund, transfer or alternative option will be provided to affected customers at the time.

Cancelled events

If Get In Line cancels an event, affected customers will be contacted with details of the applicable refund, transfer or other remedy.

Except where the law requires otherwise, Get In Line is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation, subsistence or other costs incurred in connection with the event.

Events beyond our reasonable control

Events affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control will be dealt with in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and will explain any options available to affected customers.

How to request cancellation

Open the booking in your Dancefloor account and use the Request cancellation option, or email contact@getinline.dance quoting your booking reference.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes or limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
