Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to bookings made through Get In Line Dancefloor. Get In Line Dancefloor is operated by Sean Bailey. References to “Get In Line”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sean Bailey.

By completing a booking, you confirm that the booking information you provide is accurate, that you are authorised to make the booking and that you agree to these Terms and Conditions together with our linked Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

2. Prices, bookings and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. Any compulsory fees will be displayed before you complete payment.

A booking is not a valid admission ticket until payment has been received in full and the booking is marked as paid. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe. Bank-transfer bookings remain unpaid until Get In Line confirms receipt of cleared funds.

Unpaid bookings may be released or cancelled if payment is not received within any stated deadline. We may also cancel and refund a booking where an obvious pricing, availability, technical or administrative error has occurred.

Where additional terms or conditions are published for a specific event, ticket type, venue or promotion, those additional terms will also apply to your booking. If there is any conflict between those event-specific terms and these Terms and Conditions, the event-specific terms will take precedence for that event.

We reserve the right to correct obvious administrative, technical or pricing errors relating to bookings, ticket availability or event information. Where such an error has affected your booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable to explain the available options, which may include cancellation and a full refund.

3. Booking confirmation and tickets

After successful payment, a booking confirmation or ticket will normally be sent to the email address supplied during booking. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and checking your inbox and spam or junk folders.

We are not responsible for confirmation emails that are delayed, blocked, filtered into spam or junk folders, or not received because of an incorrect email address provided by you or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Tickets are issued only for the named event, date and ticket holder or holders. Get In Line may request proof of identity or booking confirmation before admission.

A ticket may be refused or cancelled if it has been refunded, duplicated, fraudulently obtained, altered, resold without permission, previously checked in or otherwise made invalid.

4. Customer and attendee details

You are responsible for checking the event, attendee and contact details before completing your booking and again when you receive confirmation. Tell us promptly if a genuine correction is required.

Tickets cannot be transferred to another person unless Get In Line expressly agrees in writing. We may refuse a requested name change or transfer where we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorised resale or misuse.

5. Cancellations, refunds and resale

Tickets are normally non-refundable and non-transferable except where stated in our Refund Policy or where required by law.

A request to cancel or resell a ticket does not itself cancel the ticket. Where Get In Line agrees to place a ticket into the resale queue, the ticket remains valid and belongs to the original purchaser until it is actually resold.

Get In Line may sell any remaining original ticket allocation before offering tickets from the resale queue. We do not guarantee that a ticket placed into the resale queue will be resold.

If a resale is successfully completed, the original ticket will be cancelled and the original purchaser will become entitled to a refund of the ticket price actually paid, subject to the terms of the Refund Policy. If the ticket is not resold, no refund is due.

6. Event changes, postponement and cancellation

Reasonable changes may be made to event schedules, instructors, artists, venues, facilities or running order where necessary. Minor changes do not normally entitle a customer to a refund.

If an event is postponed, tickets will normally remain valid for the rearranged date unless we advise otherwise. Where an event is cancelled by Get In Line, affected customers will be contacted with details of the remedy available, which may include a refund or transfer where appropriate.

Except where the law requires otherwise, Get In Line is not responsible for separate travel, accommodation, subsistence or other consequential costs incurred in connection with an event, including where an event is changed, postponed or cancelled.

7. Events beyond our reasonable control

Get In Line will not be responsible for a failure, delay, change, postponement or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, flooding, fire, epidemic or pandemic restrictions, government action, industrial disputes, transport disruption, venue closure, utility failure, security concerns or the illness or unavailability of an instructor, artist or other essential participant.

Where such circumstances occur, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and will explain any options available to affected customers.

8. Admission, conduct and safety

Customers must comply with venue rules, staff instructions and all reasonable health, safety and security requirements.

Admission may be refused, or a customer may be removed from an event, for abusive, threatening, unsafe, illegal, intoxicated or seriously disruptive behaviour, for putting other people at risk, or for refusing to follow reasonable instructions. No refund will normally be provided in these circumstances.

Participation in dancing and other physical activities involves an inherent risk of injury. You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically and physically able to participate. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Accessibility and special requirements

Accessibility information is provided in good faith. Please contact us before booking where a specific adjustment, facility or arrangement is essential to your attendance.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility requirements but cannot guarantee that every venue or event will be suitable for every individual need.

10. Age restrictions and children

Any event-specific age restriction will be shown on the relevant event or ticket page. Where children are permitted, the parent, guardian or responsible adult making the booking is responsible for their supervision and behaviour unless the event information expressly states otherwise.

11. Photography and filming

Photography, video recording or live streaming may take place at some events for promotional, archival or operational purposes. Where practical, notices will be displayed or an announcement will be made.

If you have concerns about appearing in identifiable photographs or video, please contact us before the event or speak to an organiser on arrival. We will take reasonable steps to respect such requests, although we cannot guarantee exclusion from wide-angle crowd or background footage.

12. Fraud, misuse and payment disputes

We may cancel a booking, refuse admission or restrict future bookings where we reasonably suspect fraud, attempted fraud, ticket misuse, unauthorised resale or an unjustified payment dispute.

Nothing in this section prevents a customer from raising a genuine complaint or exercising any lawful right to dispute a payment.

13. Personal information

Personal information supplied during booking is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information may also be shared with payment processors, venues or event staff where reasonably necessary to process the booking, operate the event, provide assistance or comply with the law.

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, Get In Line is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking was made, losses caused by information or actions outside our reasonable control, or business losses incurred by a customer acting for purposes connected with a trade, business or profession.

Customers remain responsible for their personal belongings. Any lost property handed to us will be dealt with in accordance with the venue’s or organiser’s lost-property procedure.

15. Website use and intellectual property

The Get In Line Dancefloor website, its design, branding, text and original content are owned by or licensed to Get In Line and may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission.

You must not attempt to interfere with the website, access restricted areas without permission, submit malicious code, use automated purchasing tools or misuse the booking system.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you complete your booking will normally apply to that booking. Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

17. Entire agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and any applicable event-specific conditions, form the entire agreement between you and Get In Line in relation to your booking.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be treated as severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

19. No waiver

If we delay or fail to enforce any right or provision under these Terms and Conditions, this does not mean that we have waived that right or provision. Any waiver must be agreed by us in writing.

20. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom.

21. Contact

Questions, correction requests or complaints should be sent to contact@getinline.dance.
